Indianapolis, IN, December 2020 – Thanks to First Financial Bank in partnership with CREA, RecycleForce has secured a grant for $12,500 to support our clients with their credit reports. Beginning to repair credit is one of the important first steps when coming home from prison.
“We thank First Financial for their generous grant,” said RecycleForce President Gregg Keesling. “The funding will support RecycleForce’s staff, who will work remotely with First Financial to to help open accounts and to mitigate past banking issues that may prevent the opening of accounts. It will also allow RecycleForce staff to pull credit reports of our clients.”
RecycleForce has sufficient secure computer access for our clients to work online. The RecycleForce staff works closely with our clients to create a Plan of Action – a plan to address barriers to employment and reintegration into the community. This includes a robust financial plan to increase our clients’ financial literacy and help our them grow their ability to become bankable.
