On Friday, May 27th, Mr. Jim Barnes joined the RecycleForce team to share exciting news of a newly founded scholarship for program participants attending IvyTech. The first $1,000 scholarship recipient, Ms. Jamea Huspon, shared that she hopes she can “prove to all the women out there, that you can do it.”
Mr. Jim Barnes is an industrialist and artist who is a longtime friend and supporter of RecyleForce. Some of his works are proudly displayed on our campus, and we are thrilled to partner with Mr. Barnes to provide educational opportunities for our clients. “I believe in the mission and the work happening at RecycleForce, and am proud to support education opportunities for people like Jamea,” he said.

RecycleForce is a nonprofit social organization that employs individuals coming out of jail and prison, provides education, training and support services to those clients.
